Hi, I'm Stephen — a Senior Occupational Therapist with a career built across some of the most varied and demanding clinical environments you can work in. From busy hospital wards and community health to paediatrics, aged care, and international practice, I've worked with people at every stage of life and across virtually every disability type.
That breadth is deliberate. Whether I'm working with a toddler, a 40-year-old navigating a new diagnosis, or an elderly person wanting to stay safely at home — I bring the same level of care, clinical rigour, and genuine interest in getting the best outcome. I've completed assistive technology assessments, complex home modifications, functional capacity reports, ongoing therapy, and everything in between.
Outside the clinic, I'm into the gym, surfing, travel, gaming and anime. That last part comes in handy more than you'd think — if you've got a kid who's obsessed with Pokémon or Minecraft, we're already halfway there.
When you work with Sunshine C OT, you work with me — directly, every time. No handoffs, no surprises.
We keep the process as straightforward as possible — for participants, families, and support coordinators alike.
"Incredibly thorough and so easy to work with. The report was delivered quickly and was exactly what we needed for the plan review. Will definitely refer again."
"We were really struggling to find an OT who could come out to us. Having someone travel for the home assessment made such a difference for our whole family."
"Working directly with a senior OT every single time is a huge difference from what we've experienced elsewhere. The quality of the reports speaks for itself."
No referral is needed. Anyone can get in touch — participants, family members, carers, support coordinators, plan managers, GPs, or other allied health professionals. Simply fill out the form below or give us a call and we'll take it from there.
We work with NDIS plan managed and self managed participants, as well as private paying clients. If you're unsure about your funding situation, just get in touch and we'll help you work it out.
Most FCAs take between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the complexity of the participant's needs. This includes the face-to-face assessment plus time for gathering background information from relevant parties. A written report follows after the assessment.
Yes — we regularly travel to rural and regional Queensland for assessments, home modification visits, and assistive technology support. Travel to rural areas is arranged by negotiation. Get in touch with your location and we'll let you know what's possible.
We work across the full lifespan — from young children through to aged care. Our senior OT has experience with paediatric, adult, and older adult clients across a wide range of physical, neurological, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities.
We aim to respond to all referrals within one business day and schedule appointments as promptly as possible. Timeframes depend on location and current availability. If there is urgency, please mention this when you get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Every assessment, report, and communication is handled personally by our senior OT — there are no junior clinicians or admin layers. You'll always know exactly who you're working with, which is especially valued by support coordinators who need consistency and reliability.
After the assessment is completed, a comprehensive written report is prepared and provided to the participant, their support coordinator or plan manager, and the NDIA as appropriate. Reports are written to align with NDIS evidence requirements to support the best possible funding outcomes.
Yes — Telehealth appointments are available and work really well for a range of situations. This includes follow-up sessions after an in-person FCA, ongoing therapy check-ins, assistive technology reviews, and initial consultations. Telehealth is also a great option for participants in rural or remote areas where regular in-person visits aren't practical. All you need is a phone or device with a camera and a stable internet connection.
No referral form needed — anyone can reach out on behalf of a participant. We'll get back to you within one business day.

We'll work with you throughout the process — clear communication guaranteed
We welcome referrals directly from family members and carers on behalf of participants
